- Sauna stones: included in every heater package above.
- Electrical: electric heaters need a dedicated 240V circuit run by a licensed electrician. Wood-burning stoves need a chimney kit instead.
- Base: a level pad: concrete, pavers, compacted gravel or a deck rated for the weight.
- Unloading: the kit arrives as a crated freight shipment. Plan on a forklift, tractor or rental equipment, or ask us about white-glove delivery.
- Assembly: two people with basic tools. Barrels and cubes usually go up in a day; cabins take longer. Manuals are linked below.

Common questions
Is the heater included? No. Kits are sold without a heater so you can choose your control. This model takes an 8 kW electric heater, and the heater packages above include the heater, control and stones and ship free with the sauna.
Which size should I get? Go by how many people use it at once, then check the footprint against your space. Our size & style guide compares every model, or try the sauna finder.
Can I assemble it myself? Yes. SaunaLife and Kohler kits are designed for two people with basic tools, and most barrels and cubes go up in a day. ThermaSol cabins arrive as larger pre-built panels and may need a contractor.
What electrical does it need? A dedicated 240V circuit, hard-wired by a licensed electrician and sized from the heater manual. Many towns require an electrical permit for the circuit. The structure itself often doesn't need a building permit, but rules vary, so check locally.
What base does it need? Level and solid: a concrete pad, pavers, compacted gravel or a deck rated for the weight.
Can it stay outside all year? Yes. Outdoor kits use thermally modified wood and a roof built for rain and snow. A coat of exterior wood oil or stain every year or two keeps the outside looking new.
How long does it take to heat up? Typically 30–60 minutes, depending on the heater, the room size and the outside temperature. With a Wi-Fi control you can start it from your phone on the way home.
Can I use a wood-burning stove instead? Yes. Choose “No heater for now” and call or text us; we'll quote a Harvia or Narvi wood stove with the chimney kit for this model.
How does delivery work? Free curbside freight to the continental US. The carrier calls to schedule, someone signs and inspects, and you'll need a way to unload the crate. White-glove delivery is available on request.
