Free Shipping — Always

Every order ships free to the continental United States (lower 48 states), with no minimum order requirement. There are no hidden freight surcharges — what you see at checkout is what you pay.

Shipping Methods by Product Type

Small Accessories (Under 30 lbs)

Ships free via UPS, FedEx, or USPS within 1–2 business days of order placement. Transit time is typically 3–7 business days depending on destination. Tracking is provided via email when the shipment is created.

Includes: sauna accessories, fire pit covers, LP gas hoses, pizza oven accessories, sauna stones, small Harvia controls.

Mid-Size Items (30–150 lbs)

Ships free via UPS or FedEx Ground within 1–3 business days. Typical transit time 5–10 business days. Some items in this category ship from manufacturer warehouses and may have slightly longer processing times — noted on individual product pages where applicable.

Includes: Harvia sauna heaters, most HPC fire pit kits, HPC pizza oven accessories, fire pit glass wind guards.

Large Freight Items (150 lbs+)

Shipped free via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carrier. Delivery is by scheduled appointment — the carrier will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery window. Someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment.

Freight delivery is curbside by default — the driver will bring the shipment to the curb or end of your driveway. If you need inside delivery or placement, contact us before ordering to arrange white glove service where available.

Includes: SaunaLife outdoor sauna kits, pergolas, HPC pizza ovens (Forno, Villa, Di Napoli), The Outdoor Plus fire pits and fire bowls, glass pavilions.

Processing times for made-to-order items: The Outdoor Plus fire bowls and fire pits are made to order and typically ship within 2–3 weeks. SaunaLife sauna kits typically ship within 1–2 weeks. Pergolas typically ship within 2–4 weeks. Current lead times are displayed on each product page — they may vary seasonally.

White Glove Delivery

White glove delivery — inside placement and packaging removal — is included standard on the Kohler x Remedy Place Cold Plunge. This service is available on select other large items for an additional charge. Contact us to arrange: 1-732-320-9269.

Order Processing

Orders placed Monday–Friday before 2pm EST are generally processed same day. Orders placed Friday after 2pm EST, Saturday, or Sunday are processed on the following Monday. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately, and a shipping confirmation with tracking when your order ships.

Receiving Your Order

When your freight delivery arrives, inspect all cartons and items thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. If any damage is visible — including damage to the outer packaging that may indicate internal damage — note it explicitly on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Take photographs of any damage.

Contact us same day at 1-732-320-9269 or support@backyardsupplydirect.com with photos if you note any damage. Do not refuse the delivery without contacting us first — refusing delivery without prior authorization may complicate the claims process.

Once the delivery receipt is signed without damage notation, claims for visible damage become more difficult to process. We want to make things right quickly — the fastest path is noting damage on the receipt and contacting us immediately.

Geographic Coverage

We ship free to all 50 US states and US territories for most products. Some large freight items are limited to the continental 48 states. If you are in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or another territory, please contact us before ordering to confirm availability: 1-732-320-9269.

We do not currently offer international shipping.
