The 12 by 14 inch hardwood paddle surface is ideal for stretching dough and sliding finished pizzas — wood's natural surface texture gives better dough control than aluminum. The 8-inch handle keeps it maneuverable for close-range oven work.

To use: sprinkle the paddle with cornmeal or flour, place your stretched dough, add toppings, then perform a gentle shake test before sliding into the oven. For best results, use this peel alongside the aluminum insertion peel.
